The Valley Troupers Northleigh
Formed in 1992, The Valley Troupers have staged a wide variety of productions at Northleigh's Village Hall. A one-night entertainment at the Harvest supper that year has grown into a regular annual production. We are always looking for members, so if you are interested in acting or helping behind the scenes, do get in touch. Rehearsals at Northleigh's village hall usually start at 7.45pm each Thursday evening from mid September until performance dates in late March or early April. Ask any member of the Troupers for details of the current production.

Angels in Love 1998 Written by Hugh Mills and first performed in 1986, the play is set in the home of Little Lord Fauntleroy, now married for over a year but with no sign of a family. It becomes clear to his mother that the couple know nothing of the facts of life and the question is how, in such an un-permissive society they can ever learn them. The Comtesse, a family friend, tries to teach Lord F. about birds and bees; other characters include the amorous Sir Pomeroy Pomeroy-Jones and his brother Eustace (who calmly goes through life murdering anyone he finds an inconvenience), the Earl of Dorincourt (Fauntleroy's grandfather), Furse the butler and Burton the maid.
