Tons of Money 1997

was written by Will Evans in 1922 but adapted by Alan Ayckbourne in 1986. The play is set in the orangery of Aubrey Henry Allington's house at Marlow in Buckinghamshire. Allington is an unsuccessful inventor with a list of debts longer than his name. Financial relief arrives in the form of a large inheritance, but his problems are far from over....
